SAP Business ByDesign – What’s New 20.11 :
SAP Business ByDesign 20.11 is now available. This article gives you an overview of the most important new features of SAP Business ByDesign 20.11.
CRM :
- Analyse net sales with and without surcharges from quote to invoice
Sales managers and employees can now flexibly analyse the net value with and without surcharges, transport costs, taxes, etc. on invoices, orders, quotes, contracts. More details here
- Price list and discount list read with pagination
If a customer who sells a lot of products wants to read out all the basic data of the product prices and discounts, it is now possible to read out the basic data of the prices and discounts in pages / blocks. More details here
- Customer invoice and credit note from Manager Approval app
Using the Manager Approval app, you can now allow managers to approve customer invoices and credit notes. More details here
- Manual document references for sales orders
With version 20.08, we introduced the ability to reference pre-sales documents such as leads, campaigns, opportunities, etc. in sales quotes. With version 20.11, we now offer the same functionality for sales orders. More details here
- Manage customer contract issues
Users can automate certain tasks and actions around customer contracts. For example, you can decide to automatically renew a customer contract some time before the end date of the contract. More details here
- Block product for sales
In the product data, the customer can now block an item used in any new CRM document and any new CRM transaction.
- Deleting products
In the product data, the customer can now delete a product (material and service) that is not used in the system or is not used in the business scenario.
In total, customer improvement requests with more than 193 votes were delivered for the CRM function in 20.11.
Human Resources :
- Replication of time administration master data via Employee Integration
It is now possible to control the administration of time base data for employee integration scenarios via the business configuration (Blog).
- Extension fields in the Employee Self-Service Timesheet
During time recording activities, employees are now able to capture additional information such as country / work status via extension fields.
Logistics :
- Change dates of started production orders
It is now possible to adjust production schedules, e.g. due to a changed situation or supply or to reflect situations of overload or unavailability of resources More details here
- Display and filter by supplier part number in the inbound logistics process
It is now possible for warehouses to select purchase order items, inbound shipping notifications or put-away tasks by vendor part number when processing goods receipt. More details here
